The NID Exam, is India’s premier entrance exam for B.Des design courses at NID campuses, testing creativity, problem-solving, and design skills through two stages: DAT Prelims (objective/subjective screening) and DAT Mains (studio test & interview for short listing). It assesses aptitude for design, not just theoretical knowledge, with the Mains focusing on hands-on skills like model making, sketching, and material handling for final selection
